Dr. Gabriel Cintrón Colón is a dedicated veterinarian at VETS PR, where he combines his passion for animal welfare with his extensive clinical experience. Born and raised in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Dr. Cintrón graduated from Ross University in 2016. His journey into veterinary medicine was inspired by a deep commitment to alleviate suffering and improve the quality of life of animals, as well as to educate pet owners about proper care and treatment.
With an extensive background in veterinary medicine, Dr. Cintron began his career at the San Claudio Veterinary Clinic, where he honed his skills as an emergency veterinarian for six years. He also spent two years at the Guaynabo Veterinary Clinic, specializing in surgery. His professional interests include internal medicine, emergency orthopedic surgery and soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Cintron is affiliated with several veterinary organizations, including CMVPR, AVMA and VECCS, reflecting his commitment to continuing professional development and collaboration in the field.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Cintron enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, further enriching his life outside of veterinary medicine. Although he does not have pets, his passion for the human-animal bond drives his dedication to the health and well-being of his patients.
